Topokki is a Korean dish made from soft rice cakes, fish cakes & sweet red chilli paste! This dish is absolutely delicious and no wonder they have chosen this name for their restaurant.

The restaurant itself is very warm and full of amazing smells from the moment you walk in. The BBQ tables grilling the meat are a good touch and are very traditional for Korean restaurants. However if you want to sit on a BBQ table you need to either prebook or wait a little bit extra - I have been lucky though, all 3 times I have been here I have managed to get a BBQ table.
Dishes I recommend getting if you are a Korean newbie!
£6.50 Cheese Topokki (Rice Cake's with Red Chilli Paste) - The Rice Cake's are incredible!
£6.50 Pork Dumpings
£2 Kimchi - This stuff is delicious, you have to try!
£35 Set A - This may sound expensive but if there is 2-4 of you , it works out very reasonably priced. You get a lot of meat. If there is more than 3 I would suggest you get the above dishes also.
The only real criticism I have of this place is the old decor, it feels like it needs a little upgrade - but it is not an issue at all and it has not ruined any of my experiences.
The only thing I would say is a big disappointment is that the the website is not kept up to date, which for me I think is extremely bad in today's day and age...oh and they have no social media presence!?!? I really feel like they has great potential to get many followers and increase footfall if they managed their online presence better.
