Bootshaus Bar und Grill is both a restaurant & a bar, so you can appreciate the view over the Elbe as you please. When you walk in you get welcomed by the friendly staff and you will notice straight away that you are in a high-class venue. First thing you notice is the stylish bar full of modern and premium drinks behind it. As you are taken into the restaurant area, you get hit with a whiff of amazingness coming from the Kitchen - that sizzling steak is kindly appreciated by your senses.

One thing you start to appreciate right away with Bootshaus is the quality is very high. The service you receive from the waiters is excellent, they have great knowledge of the food and suggested a great wine pairing for me - AN/2, which supplemented the Rib-Eye steak extremely well. Also before your main comes out, while you are enjoying your free selection of breads and olive oils, if you have chosen a steak then you get presented with a variety of different premium sharp knifes to pick from. I have never been given the choice of knifes before a steak, so this was a good touch! Furthermore, the high quality does not stop there, because when the main does come out - wow - it does not disappoint. I have been to some great steak houses in my time, this one is definitely up there.
If you are in Hafencity Hamburg, I would recommend you visit Miniature Wunderland Hamburg, which is only a 9 min walk from Bootshaus. I went here on another visit to Hamburg the year before, when I came with my partner. We really enjoyed seeing all the cool Miniature worlds that had been built by some very talented (and patient) individuals.
